MEMORANDUM
March 10, 1971
TO: Lewis A. Moe, City Attorney
FROM: Planning Department
SUBJECT: Sequoia Pacific Realco's Request re Development
of Occidental Petroleum Company Property,
currently under CUP for a Mobile Home Park
Reference: Ltr of 3/05/71, Sequoia Pacific Realco to J. B.
Arnold, copy attached
The City Manager, Joe 'Olinghouse, and myself feel the
following are fair, but workable, comments which you may
'wish to incorporate in your letter to Sequoia Pacific:
(1) That proposed mobile homes park shall be developed in
conformance with Planning Commission Resolution No. 646;
(2) That the beginning of physical construction of Unit One
would constitute the exercising of the CUP, also, that
if one(1) year should expire between the completion of
any unit and the finalization of the total project, it
will be the staff's recommendation to the Planning Com-
mission that they initiate proceedings for a public
hearing to review and consider revoking said CUP on
the remaining property.
