Attached please find a flyer announcing an upcoming meeting, of the Open Space Advisory
Committee, to discuss the equestrian use of the Carlsbad Trail System. In an effort to
locate Carlsbad residents that are equestrians, we have mailed you this notice. We would
appreciate it if you would pass along this information to all interested parties. If you have
a bulletin board, please post the notice.
All are encouraged to contact the City with questions or comments. Please contact Terri

AlTENTION CARLSBAD EQUESTRIANS
The City of Carlsbad is in the process of making final decisions regarding the equestrian use
of the proposed Carlsbad Trail System. City staff is currently compiling data on where horses
are currently boarded in Carlsbad, where residents currently ride their horses in Carlsbad, and
where residents would like to be able to ride in the future.
If you would like to provide input into this process, please contact Terri Woods, City of
Carlsbad Planning Department, at 438-1 161, extension 4447.
NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
The Open Space Advisory Committee will consider the equestrian use of trails at their
February 25, 1993 meeting. All interested parties are encouraged to attend.
