SUBJEm DI 95-01 - PLANNING COMMISSION PROCEDURES - Review and re-
adoption of Planning Commission Procedures.
I. RECOMMENDATION
That the Planning Commission ADOPT Planning Commission Resolution No. 3768
APPROVING DI 95-01, adopting amended Planning Commission Procedures.
11. DISCUSSION
The Planning Commission adopted its present procedures on July 19, 1989. No significant
changes have occurred, however some housekeeping matters need to be addressed.
Additionally, the Ralph M. Brown Act, which is incorporated into the Planning Commission
Procedures has been amended since the procedures were last adopted, hence the new Brown
Act is incorporated into the revised procedures.
"Chairman" has been changed to "Chairperson" throughout. Other proposed deletions are
shown in strikeout, with additions in redline text. Changes to the text are recommended in Sections 1, (changing the name of the street from Elm Avenue to Carlsbad Village Drive);
11, (adding Consent Calendar, and moving Approval of Minutes to be consistent with the
order established by Commission a few years ago); and 55, (citing the date of the latest
revision to the Brown Act).
