Description/Explanation. The Summit at Carlsbad project is proposing 143 one, two and three bedroom apartment units on a 20.65-acre site. The site is located north of Marron Road, east of El Camino Real and south of Haymar Drive. The project includes Site Development Plan and related Hillside Development. A Zone Change is being requested to change the existing zoning from Limited Control (L-C) to Residential Density-Multiple (RDM). Also included in this application is a request for a density bonus above the allowed density per the Growth Management Ordinance.
