HomeMy WebLinkAboutLCPA 90-03A; Four Seasons Aviara Resort; Local Coastal Program Amendment (LCPA) (14)PUBLIC NOTICE TO INTERESTED PARTIES: Please be advised that the City of Carlsbad is considering text amendments to its Local Coastal Program (LCP) as summarized below. This amendment is being proposed by Aviara Resort Associates and is presently under review. This notice hereby opens a six-week review period after which the City Council will consider all comments and act on the proposed amendment. The Planning Commission hearing is expected to take place in September 1995 and will be duly noticed. The City Council hearing is expected to take place in October 1995 and will be duly noticed. Copies of the proposed LCP amendment are available for review at the Carlsbad Planning Department, 2075 Las Palmas Drive, Carlsbad, CA 92009. PROPOSED LCP AMENDMENT SUMMARY LCPA 90-03(A)/MP 177(0) - M)UR SEASONS AVIARA RESORT The Aviara Master Plan is the implementing ordinance for those portions of the East Batiquitos Lagoon and Mello I1 segments of City’s Local Coastal Program that lie within Aviara. The proposed Four Seasons Aviara Resort would amend the master plan by revising planning area boundaries, replace some hotel and residential uses with timeshares, and consolidate the sports center and restaurant.
