TO INTERESTED PARTIES:
Please be advised that the City of Carlsbad is considering a map amendment to the Agua
Hedionda segment of its Local Coastal Program (LCP) as summarized below. The proposed
amendments were submitted by a project applicant and are presently under review. This
notice hereby opens a six-week review period after which the City Council will consider all
comments and act on the proposed amendment. The Planning Commission LCP
Amendment hearing is expected to take place on June 5, 1991 and will be duly noticed.

PROPOSED LCP AMENDMENT SUMMARY
The Agua Hedionda segment of Carlsbad's Local Coastal Program is being proposed for
major amendment. The amendment would revise the land use designation for the property
on the north shore of Agua Hedionda Lagoon. More specifically is proposed:
Change land use designation of one lot at Whitey's Landing
from RC (Recreational Commercial) to RLM (Residential
Low/Medium Density).
