You noted that we did not include in our submittal package the mailing list known as Appendix A to the LCP Manual. This was just an oversight on our part. As you are aware, we have not been submitting Appendix A for years relative to our LCP amendments because we assumed that you have a copy of the list and our sending it would just be a redundancy. Our standard procedure in noticing LCP amendments is to follow Section 1351 5 of the Coastal Regulations. To that end, we notlfy interested parties pk& the agencies listed on Appendix A. I am including with this correspondence a copy of the agency list (Appendix A) that you sent to us sometime ago. As indicated above, it is our standard procedure to notify these agencies for every LCP amendment and to the best of my knowledge, each item in this amendment package included such notification. I trust this responds to your noticing concerns. Please let us know if the package is now adequate for filing. We have not had filing problems in the past and it is my understanding that this subject amendment package follows the same procedures and format as past submittals. As a final note, we intend to submit with all future amendment packages, both our noticing (mailing) lists - i.e., Interested Parties and Appendix A.
