TO INTERESTED PARTIES:
Please be advised that the City of Carlsbad is considering map amendments to the MELLO I1 segment of its Local coastal Program (Lcp) as summarized below. The proposed amendment was submitted by a project applicant and is presently under review.
This notice hereby opens a six week review period after which the City Council will consider
all comments and act on the proposed amendments. The City Council LCP Amendment
hearing is expected to take place in November, 1995 and will be duly noticed.
Copies of the proposed LCP amendments are available for review at the Planning
Department, 2075 Las Palmas Drive, Carlsbad, California 92009.
PROPOSED LCP AMENDMENT SUMMARY MELLO I1 LAND USE PLAN - LCPA 95-09
An amendment to the Mello I1 Land Use Plan (LCPA 95-09) to rezone an
approximately 31 acre site located at the northwest corner of future Poinsettia Lane and
Blackrail in the southwest quadrant and within the boundaries of the Zone 20 Specific Plan
area. The proposed map amendment consists of the rezoning of the Ocean Bluff property
from LC to R-1 which is consistent with the RLM General Plan and Mello I1 Coastal
Program Land Use designations.
