TO INTERESTED PARTIES:
Please be advised that the City of Carlsbad is considering text amendments to its Local
Coastal Program (LCP) as summarized below. This amendment is being proposed by
Chanco Development and is presently under review. This notice hereby opens a six-week
review period after which the Planning Commission and City Council will consider all
comments and act on the proposed amendment. The Planning Commission hearing is
expected to take place in November, 1995 and will be duly noticed. The City Council
hearing is expected to take place in January, 1996 and will be duly noticed.
Copies of the proposed LCP amendment are available for review at the Carlsbad Planning
Department, 2075 Las Palmas Drive, Carlsbad, CA 92009.

MASTER PLAN AMENDMENT - LCPA 95-13 - D’ BREZZA
The Aviara Master Plan is the implementing ordinance for those segments of the City’s
Local Coastal Program that cover the Aviara Master Plan. This Local Coastal Plan
Amendment is necessary to ensure consistency between the Aviara Master Plan and the
implementing ordinance of the City’s Local Coastal Program. The specific amendment
would change the development standards and design criteria to allow the development of
107 clustered single family homes within Aviara Planning Area 12, generally located at the
southeast corner of Alga Road and Black Rail Court.
