Re: City of Carlsbad Local Coastal Program (KP) Amendment #1-2OOO
Dear Mr. Munoz:
The above-referenced LCP amendment was submitted to this office on March 16,2000.
It consists of amendments to the certified L€P implementation program. However, the
submittal is incomplete, and several items must be submitted before the amendment can
be filed and scheduled for Commission action.
Two more copies of the LCP submittal. Please provide three copies in the future
to avoid delays in our review.
Manzanita. Biological survey, Fire suppression plan, Resource Agency approval
letters;
Roesch. City Council minutes, Biological Survey, Separate Sensitive Plant
Survey, City of Carlsbad Staff Report, Exhibits of existing and proposed changes,
Fire suppression plan, Resource Agency approval letters;
Steiner. Fire suppression plan, Resource Agency approval letters, Exhibits of
existing and proposed designations.
The submittal involves an amendment to the implementation plan of the certified LCP;
the amendment is a “Major” amendment. When all required information is received,
reviewed by staff and found to be adequate to analyze the amendment, the Coastal
Commission has 60 days to review an implementation plan amendment. Please call me if
you have any questions.
Sincerely, Pk
Bill Ponder
