Description/Explanation:
This project involves a Planned Industrial Permit (PIP) application for the Carlsbad
Raceway (CT 98-10/HDP 98-09). This PIP will accompany the Tentative Map and
Hillside Development Permit applications for the Carlsbad Raceway. Since floor plans
and elevations are not being processed with the subdivision of this property, the sole
purpose of this PIP is to allow for processing of the Tentative Map and Hillside
Development Permit. Although amendments to this PIP will not be required as the lots
of this subdivision are developed, new PIPS will be required with the development of
each lot.
The Carlsbad Raceway Tentative Map and landscape plan, which was submitted most
recently on January 30, 2001, contains all of the information required for this PIP
application in relation to the site plan and landscape plan. A setback exhibit has been
added to the plan set in order to show the required setbacks.
