Dear Gary,
I am writing on behalf of Callaway Golf to request approval of a minor amendment to PIP 93-02
at 5825 and 5860 Dryden Place, Carlsbad, California.
The existing site is 9.05 acres consisting primarily of a landscaped golf driving range. In
addition, two existing structures, one a 960 square foot maintenance building and the other a
9,000 square foot test facility are currently located on the site.
We are proposing a detached trellis structure to be located adjacent to the test facility building
in order to highlight the building entry. The trellis structure will have an open roof with the
highest point at fifteen feet (15’) and the structure will cover a ground area of 840 square feet.
Per the requirements of a minor PIP amendment, there will be no changes to the boundaries
of the subject project.
