PROJECT NAME: CALIAWAY GOLF - TESTING FACILITY

Descn'ption/Explanation:
The attached project application is for a Research and Test Facility for Callaway Golf, located
on Lots 21 and 22 in the Carlsbad Airport Centre.
The project consists of a Test Range Fairway, Approach, Chipping and Putting Greens on the
9.05 acre site. The proposed building structures are an approximate 7,600 square foot, two-
story Range Building and a 960 square foot, single-story Maintenance Building.
On-site parking is provided for 30 cars.

Dear Jeff,
Enclosed please find the P.I.P. re-submittal package for the above-referenced project. Included
are the following documents:
1. Ten (10) copies of the Site Plan, Preliminary Landscape Plan, Building Floor Plans,
Elevations and Roof Plans for the Range and Maintenance Buildings.
2. One (1) copy of the colored Elevation Plan for the revised Range Building.
3. One (1) copy of Project Description/Explanation Sheet.
Please note that the Range Building area has been increased from 5,250 square feet, as
previously submitted, to approximately 7,600 square feet. The Maintenance Building has not
been revised. The parking area has been increased to accommodate 30 spaces as required
by the area increase.

WHEREAS, the Corporation intends to submit application to
the City of Carlsbad for a Planned Industrial Permit for
development of the real property APN #s 212091-04 and 212091-05;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
1. That Carol A. Kerley, as Chief Financial Officer,
acting alone, is authorized to execute the application to the City of Carlsbad for a Planned Industrial Permit for development of the real property APN #s 212091-04 and 212091-05; and
2. That Carol A. Kerley, as Chief Financial Officer,
acting alone, be and is hereby authorized on behalf of the
Corporation to perform all acts and execute all instruments,
documents, and agreements as may be required to carry out the
purpose of this resolution.
4. I further certify that the above resolution has not
been amended or repealed and is in full force and effect, and that said resolution is not contrary to the articles of incorporation and/or bylaws of the Corporation nor violative of the laws of the state of its incorporation.
