I made the lines around the sign larger so that they are easer to read and only used 2 boxes to determine the size; as you requested. The Original size of "Taco Shop" with out the two boxes was 15.9 sq. ft not 20.34 as you stated. We decreased the overall size by 3% to accommodate your requesting sizing; resulting in 24.95 sq. ft. I know that there was a question regarding the logo hanging over the "Taco Shop". According to the Carlsbad Criteria section 18.20.025(4)... - Sign area shall be computed by measuring the smallest square, rectangle, triangle, circle OR combination thereof,... This paragraph states that we are able to use multiple measurements to determine the square footage, so there should be no problem. Please respond to this email as approved.
