Dear Mr. Estonactoc:
I have reviewed the plans of the proposed new signs for your department store at Plaza Camino Real, dated February 20, 1989. One copy of the plans are hereby returned approved as noted.
Ttie approval of the design for the new signs and/or the scope of work illustrated by the referenced plans in no way obligates May Centers, Inc. to any level of participation, directly or indirectly in the completion of the scope of work.
It is my understandings that May Centers, Inc., under a separate letter agree- ment will remove the existing building signs and install the new signs provided by JCPenney Company, Inc prior to July 31, 1989. The fabrication of and the permit required to install the signs are the responsibility of JCPenney Company, Inc.
It is also my understanding that Tom Rowe has approved in concept enhancements
to the plyon sign on Marron Road which has your sign on it. I will be sending you a plan later this week illustrating the scope of modifications to the plyon sign.
