Retail Tenant Wall Signs (Exhibit B)
Structure
All signs to single face, flush mounted cabinets only. All sign cabinets to have white texcote finish and have slim line 800 maximum interior illumination.
Size
All signs will be 10" in width, 24" in height and
14 in length.
Color and Copy
Signs will have white translucent backgrounds. Copy color will be brown or pumpkin (tenants choice).
Logos will be permitted with landlord approval. All copies will be flat cut-out letters with black +''
trim cap.

Type 2: Second Level Office Space
A. Office space will be identified by directory signs or walls at each stairwell.
B. Gold leaf print may be applied to business doors for tenant identification.
Type 3: . Hanging Signs (Exhibit B)
A. Location
The signs will be allowed only for retail tenants
located at street level in Buildings C b D.

Freestanding Sign
A. Structure
One freestanding sign shall be not more than 100 sq. ft. and shall be constructed as shown in Exhibit C (10/26/79).
B. Location
The freestanding sign shall be located along the
frontage of El Camino Real. Exact location to be determined.
General Provisions
1. All signs to comply with Section 21.41 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code: Permits shall be obtained for all
signs.
2. All signs to be approved by the landlord or his representative prior to issuance of a permit by the City.
3. All signs not specifically allowed in this sign program are prohibited. Any changes will require an amendment to this sign program.
4. This sign program shall be amended to include the restaurant and bank before any signs are permitted for these two structures.
5. This sign program can be amended by application to the Planning Department and by approval of the Planning Director.
