PROJECT DESCRIPTION/EXPLANATION
This application is a request for a miscellaneous amendment to PUD 93-07 - Village O of the
Rancho Carrillo Master Plan. PUD 93-07, along with Design Guidelines for Village O, was
approved in February 1995 consistent with the Delayed Architecture Review process described
the in the Rancho Carrillo Master Plan (see page 30 of the Master Plan). On March 2,1998, ten
copies of the proposed floor plans and architecture for Village O were submitted to the City of
Carlsbad Planning Department. Consistent with the Delayed Architecture Review procedure,
after City Staff has determined that the submitted floor plans and architecture is consistent with
the approved Design Guidelines for Village O, the floor plans and architecture shall be presented
to the Planning Commission pursuant to an amendment to the PUD. This application is for such
an amendment.
