Re: Approval of Sidewalk Sign Permit
Dear Sheree:
Thank you for submitting your application for a Sidewalk Sign Permit. Having received all
required documents your application has been approved. Attached is a copy of the approved
Sidewalk Sign Permit for your records.
The attached permit allows you to retain your sign for; 1) as long as the Housing and
Redevelopment Commission allows sidewalk signs to remain, 2) as long as the sign continues
to meet the standards outlined within the Carlsbad Village Master Plan and Design Manual, and
3) as long as the sign is consistent with this permit approval. It is important to note that the
Housing and Redevelopment Commission will complete an annual review of the sidewalk sign
regulations to determine their continued applicability. A valid Certificate of Insurance is required
for as long as the A-Frame sign continues to be placed within the public right-of-way. It is vour
responsibilitv to insure a copy of the current Certificate of Insurance is sent to the Housinq &
Most importantlv. the siqn must be placed Redevelopment Department each time it is updated,
as shown on the approved site plan.
