HomeMy WebLinkAboutRP 05-10; State Street Mixed Use; Redevelopment Permits (RP) (5)Citv of Carlsbad KHousing & Redevelopment Department CITY OF CARLSBAD NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING STATE STREET MIXED USE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Design Review Board of the City of Carlsbad will hold a special Public Hearing in the City Council Channbers, 1200 Carlsbad Village Drive, Carlsbad, California, at 6:00 PIVl on IVlonday, June 26, 2006, to consider recommending approval of a request for a i\/lajor Redevelopment Permit (RP 05-10), Coastal Development Permit (CDP 05-42), and Tentative Tract Map (CT 05-20) to allow the construction of a mixed-use development project consisting of six (6) condominium units and 1,875 square feet of commercial/retail space on the property located at 3044 State Street (APN: 203-297-04) in Land Use District 1 of the Carlsbad Village Redevelopment Area. The proposed project includes a request to participate in the Parking In-Lieu Fee Program to satisfy a portion of the on-site paricing requirement for a maximum of six (6) parl<ing spaces. Those persons wishing to speal< on this proposal are cordially invited to attend the public hearing. You may also provide your comments in writing to the Housing and Redevelopment Department at 2965 Roosevelt Street, Suite B, Carlsbad, CA 92008. As a result of the environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the Environmental Protection Ordinance of the City of Carlsbad, the Housing & Redevelopment Department has determined that the project is categorically exempt from the requirement for preparation of environmental documents pursuant to Section 15332 ofthe State CEQA Guidelines as an infill development project. The Design Review Board will be considering recommending approval of the environmental determination during the public hearing. If you challenge the Major Redevelopment Permit in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice or in written correspondence delivered to the City of Carlsbad at or prior to the public hearing.
