The proposed project includes a request to participate in the Parking In-Lieu Fee Program to satisfy a portion of the on-site paricing requirement for a maximum of six (6) parl<ing spaces. Those persons wishing to speal< on this proposal are cordially invited to attend the public hearing. As a result of the environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the Environmental Protection Ordinance of the City of Carlsbad, the Housing & Redevelopment Department has determined that the project is categorically exempt from the requirement for preparation of environmental documents pursuant to Section 15332 ofthe State CEQA Guidelines as an infill development project. The Design Review Board will be considering recommending approval of the environmental determination during the public hearing.
