5. Provide an elevation for all proposed sign(s) which specifies the following:
A. Dimensions and area for all existing and proposed sign(s).
B. Materials the sign(s) will be constructed of
C. Source of Illumination.
D. Proposed sign copy.
APPLICANT MUST SUBMIT THREE (3) SETS OF SIGN/SITE PLANS, A COMPLETED
APPLICATION FORM, AND THE APPLICATION FEE.
The appiication must be submitted prior to 4;00 p.m. Average processing tkne: 2 weeks

Carlsbad Village Drive and Carlsbad Boulevard
The following amendment is to amend section E of the VF Sign Criteria approved
September 18, 1998.
E. Temporary Signs/Promotional Signs
1. General:
a. Temporary banners for new businesses and special events may be
permitted in accordance with the Carlsbad Village Master Plan
and/or Section 21.41 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code.
b. Four (4) Promotional/informational A-Frame/freestanding Signs for
the Village Faire shall be allowed on Village Faire private property.
One sign may be displayed at any 4 of the 6 locations approved as
shown on the site plan, no more than one sign on each street at a
time.
c. One portable A-Frame or Sandwich board sign per tenant shall be
allowed. They shall be placed within the suite lines, directly in front
of the Store and not violate any ADA laws. They shall meet the
Redevelopment Design Manuel standards for A-Frame/Freestanding
signs and be approved by management in writing prior to placement.
Approval may be revoked at any time.
