NOTICE OF FINAL ACTION
ADDITION TO EXISITING OFFICE BUILDING
2801 JEFFERSON STREET, CARLSBAD, CA.
Date of Notice: December 30, 2011
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Housing and Neighborhood Services Director of the City of
Cartsbad has made a final decision to APPROVE an Administrative Review Permit (RP 11-33) for
property located at 2801 Jefferson Street (APN 203-110-28). The property is located on the west
side of Jefferson Street at the intersection of Home Avenue. The proposed project consists of a 230
square foot addition to an existing office building. The Housing and Neighborhood Services Director
has determined that the proposed project meets all applicable requirements and is consistent with the
Village Master Plan and Design Manual. Therefore, the Director has approved the subject permit.
The applicant for the permit is Steve Ragan. The permit will allow the construction of a 230 square
foot addition.
If you wish to appeal the decision of the Housing and Neighborhood Services Director on this matter
to the Planning Commission, you must file a written appeal with the Housing and Neighborhood
Services Department within ten (10) calendar days of the date of this decision/notice. The written
appeal must be submitted no later than 12:00 p.m. on Monday, January 9, 2012. Appeal forms
are available at the Housing and Neighborhood Services Department located at 2965 Roosevelt
Street, Suite B. If you have questions regarding this permit, please contact Austin Silva in the

NOTICE IS HEREBY ALSO GIVEN that the project is exempt from the requirements of the California
Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) per Section 15301(e)(1) of the State CEQA Guidelines in that a
minor addition to an existing structure which will not have an adverse significant impact on the
environment. Appropriate documentation will be filed by the City of Carisbad's Housing and
Neighborhood Services Department.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Housing and Neighborhood Services Director of the City of
Carisbad intends to APPROVE an Administrative Review Permit (RP 11-33) for property located at
