CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL (IF APPLICABLE) Conditions of Approval Redevelopment Permit No. RP 97-07 Dini's Patio Expansion 1. This approved permit serves as the required redevelopment and coastal development permits for the subject project. 2. The project shall be completed according to, and be consistent with, the plans approved by the Housing and Redevelopment Director. The approved plans have been stamped as "Exhibit A" and the approval date of June 5, 1998. 3. The applicant shall obtain all appropriate building permits for all building improvements. 4. The applicant shall obtain all appropriate permits from the all other necessary agencies, including, but not limited to the San Diego County Health Department and the California Department of Alcohol Beverage Control. September 12, 1997 To All Our Neighbors: Dini's by the Sea is applying to expand our serving area for cocktails and appetizers to the porch area on the comer of Walnut and Carlsbad Blvd. The reason for this expansion is to provide a waiting area for our dirmer customers and sunset happy hour patrons. If the Alcoholic Beverage Control approves this expansion, Dini's by the Sea will be installing a permanent awning with plexiglass windows for wind protection. This will create a semi-enclosed area that would also be a good sound buffer from the bar entrance area. In this application we are only asking to keep the patio expansion area open until 10:00 PM. We are very aware of noise after that period and we will close by 10:00 PM without exception. Along with the patio to the southwest comer, we are petitioning to add 8 tables for outside dining along the northwest front of the restaurant. This area will also close at 10:00 PM.
