SUBJECT: SDU 01-21 - TERRACES AT SUNNY CREEK LOT 38 SDU
Thank you for applying for Land Use Permits in the City of Carlsbad. The Planning
Department has reviewed your Second Dwelling Unit Permit, application no. SDU 01-21,
as to its completeness for processing.
The application is complete, as submitted. Although the initial processing of your
application may have already begun, the technical acceptance date is acknowledged by the
date of this communication. The City may, in the course of processing the application,
request that you clarify, amplify, correct, or otherwise, supplement the basic information
required for the application. In addition, you should also be aware that various design
issues may exist. These issues must be addressed before this application can be
scheduled for a hearing. The Planning Department will begin processing your application
as of the date of this communication.

ISSUES OF CONCERN
NO. SDU 01-21 - TERRACES AT SUNNY CREEK LOT 38 SDU
Planning:
1. The plans submitted for the Second Dwelling Unit application included the entire
subdivision, which is extraneous information not applicable to the proposal. Please
submit a title sheet with the permit type and application number along with the
applicable sheet from the tentative map. The submitted floor plans and elevations
are sufficient.
The Planning and Engineering Departments have no issues with the proposed
Second Dwelling Unit and are prepared to approve the permit upon receipt of the
plans mentioned above.
