Findings of Exemption (attach as necessary):
1. The City of Carlsbad Planning Department has completed an Environmental Initial Study
for the above referenced property, including evaluation of the proposed project’s potential
for adverse cn~~~ironmental impacts on fish and wildlife resources.
2. Based on the complete Environmental Initial Study, the City of Carlsbad Planning
Department finds that the proposed project will not encroach upon wildlife habitat area,
will have no potential ad\rersc individual or cumulative ef‘fccts on wildlife resources, and
requires no mitigation measures to be incorporated into the proposed project which would
affect fish or wildlife.
Certification:
I hereby certify that the public agency has made the above finding and that the project
will not individually or cumulatively have an ad\ersc cffcct on wildlife resources. as
defined in Section 7 1 1.2 of. the I:ish and Caiiic Code.

Please Take Notice:
The Planning Department has determined that the environmental effects of the
project described below have already been considered in conjunction with
previously certified environmental documents and, therefore, no additional
envircnmcntal review will bc required and a notice of determination will be filed.
Project Title: CARLSBAD CORPORATE PLAZA
Project Location: Southwest corner of Paseo Del Norte and Camino Del Parque
Project Description: Redesign of a previously approved office project with an
aggregate floor area of 74,500 square feet on 4.59 acres of
land within Local Facilities Management Zone 4
Justification for this determination is on file in the Planning Department, 2075 Las
Palmas Drive, Carlsbad, California 92009. Comments from the public are invited.
Please submit comments in writing to the Planning Department within 20 days of
date of publication.
