NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad will hold a public hearing at the City Council Cham- bers, 1200 Elm Avenue, Carlsbad, California, at 7:OO p.m. on Wednesday, April 8, 1981, to consider approval of a lot split of which one lot is a panhandle and a variance to decrease the minimum width of the panhandle from 20 to 15 feet and to reduce a lot width from 60 to 46 feet on property generally located on the west side of Valley Street between Chestnut and Basswood Avenues and more particularly described as: A portion of Tract 244 of Thum Lands in the City of Carlsbad according to Map No. 1681 filed December 9, 1916.
