NO - MAY BE X X X X 111. DISCUSSION OF ENVIRONMENTAL EVALUATION IC. Significant topographic changes are proposed in this project. le. Due to topographic changes erosion may increase. 18. The site is a highly visible hillside. Site design should consider aesthetic concerns as expressed in the Hillside Ordinance. -7- IV. DETERMINATION (To Be Completed by the Planning Department) On the basis of this initial evaluation: I find the proposed project COULD NOT have a significant effect on the environment, and a NEGATIVE DECLARATION will be prepared. X I find that although the proposed project could have a significant effect on the environment, there will not be a significant effect in this case because the mitigation measures described on an attached sheet have been added to the project. A Conditional Negative Declaration will be proposed. I find the proposed project MAY have a significant effect on the environment, and an ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT is required. 17 - 23-87 Date Signature V. MITIGATING MEASURES (If Applicable) 1. Prior to issuance of building and grading permits the applicant shall receive approval from the Engineering Department of erosion control measures used for the project. 2. Prior to issuance of grading and building permits for this project, the applicant shall be required to fulfill the requirements and intent of the Hillside Ordinance and receive a Hillside Development Permit from the Planning Director. -8- . .- -c MITIGATING MEASURES (Continued) VI.
