Re: Coronavirus Response Update 97
This memorandum provides the City Council with an update on the city’s response actions
related to COVID-19. This memo focuses on actions and information that are new since the last
update.
Emergency Operations Center
• Emergency Operations Center activated to support COVID-19 mitigation and
response operations and information sharing.

• Weekly update on outdoor dining permits:

A total of 74 businesses have applied.
Note: The number of sidewalk permits approved dropped by one business because
the business had applied for a long-term cafe permit before the pandemic, so was
not part of the outdoor activation program.
The total number of businesses that applied for permits decreased by one because a
business withdrew its outdoor permit application when it learned it could not have
both a curb cafe permit and a private property permit.
