Re: Coronavirus Response Update 101
This memorandum provides the City Council with an update on the city’s response actions
related to COVID-19. This memo focuses on actions and information that are new since the last
update.
Emergency Operations Center
• Emergency Operations Center activated to support COVID-19 mitigation and
response operations and information sharing.

Police Department
• Planning to have officers working in the beach area Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays as
needed to educate people on the mask requirements of the county health order and
provide masks to those who need them.
