As a business executive and Carlsbad resident since 1994, I will bring a new sense of strategic thinking, fiscal responsibility and civic vision to city hall. Our years of managing growth are over, and we are facing entirely new challenges and responsibilities that require new capabilities and skills on our city council. Our city is frozen in time. We have a General Plan that hasn't been updated since 1994, a charming downtown village in dire need of investment, and NO plans to acquire open space, contrary to voter wishes.
