Gentlemen:
Attached are the results of field density tests determined
in accordance with•ASTM Test Method No. D1556-64, taken at
the subject project at your request and under your direction
on the dates and at the locations indicated. Also attached
are the results of a laboratory compaction test which was
performed in accordance with ASTM Test Method No. D1557-70
on a sample of the material used for fill.
To our knowledge, these tests represent the relative com-
paction and water contents at the locations tested. Opinions
as to the relative compaction, water content or suitability
of the fill in areas not tested will be expressed by us only
where we have observed the placement of such fill and have
satisfied ourselves that construction procedures followed in
other areas are represented by the areas tested.
