Dear Mr. Worthing:
In accordance with your request, we have observed the basement wall foundation excavations for the
proposed single-family residence at the subject site.
The footings have been excavated to the proper depth and width into competent bearing soils and are in
compliance with the approved building plans. Foundation excavations, soil expansion characteristics and
soil bearing capacity are in accordance with the referenced geotechnical report (Reference No. 2). in
addition, utility trenches within the slab area have been properly hackfilled and compacted.
