S'ubject: Pavement Design Report, Vistamar at San Pacifico, Area B-2, Carlsbad, California Dear Ms. Long and Mr. Weldy: As requested; submitted herewith are pavement design recommendations for the private ••. street and driveways within the Vistamar at San Pacifico Development (Area B-2 of Poinsettia Shores) in the City of Carlsbad, California. * Representative samples of near subgrade materials were recently obtained and tested to determine their A-values. Testing was performed in accordance with the latest revisions to the Department of Transportation, State of California, Material & Research Test Method No. 301. . • RECOMMENDED PAVEMENT SECTIONS • . •• • The recommended pavement sections are based on the R-value data and the design criteria presented in the City of Carlsbad Standard Drawings.
