Gentlemen: In accordance with the request of City of Carlsbad, this letter has been prepared to confirm that grading of the subject lot within the Villages of La Costa - The Oaks South development is complete. From a geotechnical engineering standpoint, as indicated in the referenced report, earthwork operations were performed in substantial conformance with the referenced grading plan and project geotechnical report. The subject lot had been utilized as parking for the models. Recently, the asphalt concrete pavement and planters have been removed and the lot has been fine graded. It is our opinion, the building pad has been properly graded and is ready to receive the planned improvements. All conclusipns and recommendations presented in the referenced I update report remain applicable.
