Dear Mr. So,
Pursuant to your request, American Geotechnical has prepared this letter regarding observation and testing
services performed during the grading of building pads 9 to 12 at the subject development.
Based on the results of our observation and testing, it is our opinion that the subgrade in the areas stated to
receive the basement retaining walls for buildings 9 through 12 were compacted in general accordance with the
recommendations provided in the report and grading plans referenced above. At this point in time, these areas
are suitable to begin the excavation of the foundation of the basement retaining walls. The findings of our
observation and testing including as-built changes and relative compaction results for the basement wall areas
will be presented in our final grading report that will be issued in the near future.
We appreciate the opportunity to be of service. If you should have any questions, please do not hesitate to
contact us.
