In accordance with your request, we have prepared this letter. summarizing the as-graded
geotechnical conditions of Phase 8 building pads, Lots 29 through 32 and 45 through 51 for La
Costa Ridge residential development. The site was previously graded under the observation and
testing services of Geocon, as documented in the referenced report above. The final grading for the
subject building pads has been completed, however, utiliiy earthwork and street grading
operations for the remainder of the site are ongoing as of the date of this letter. Based on
observations made during the site visit on December 6, 2005, the condition of the building pads
appear to have been graded in accordance with currently accepted standards and are suitable to
receive the proposed improvements.
