Dear Mr. Jeff:
Pursuant to your request, this firm has provided laboratory analysis on two
representative samples of crushed miscellaneous base material to be utilized at
the above referenced project. The samples were tested for sieve analysis per
test method ASTM C 131 per test method and Sand Equivalency per test
method ASTM C 131. The results are as follows:

Dear Mr. Jett:
As requested, this firm has provided laboratory analysis on a soil sample from
the Carroll Canyon Plant to be utilized as utility pipe bedding material. The
sample was tested for sand equivalency per test method ASTM D 2419-91. The
results are as follows:
Sand Equivalency = 56
The sample does meet project specifications for use as a select sand material to
be placed as bedding material for underground utilities. We appreciate this
