Carlsbad, CA Drawing No. 432-3 Dear Mr. Bohne: Project No. 1472-A02 Log No. 09-326 Inland E 14467 r Building IRiversid Tel: 95 Fax: 95 We- are providing this final soils compaction report summarizing all the density tests results for the Ocean Estates Project at Ocean Street in Carlsbad, CA. This report covers compaction testing services performed between October 31, 2008 and February 19, 2009. The compaction testing services was provided whenever requested or scheduled by you site .653A999 representative. .653A666 Laboratory Testing Representative sample of the fill soils was obtained for laboratory testing consisting of maximum. dry density & optimum moisture content. In addition, representative sample of the utilized base material and asphalt concrete was obtained. Results of laboratory testing are summarized on Table 1. Compaction Testing Compaction testing was performed on the subgrade, base material and asphalt concrete, whererequired during our site visit. Test procedure based upon ASTM D6938-was used for field density testing of the soil density and moisture content, and. ASTM D2950 for asphalt concrete density. Approximate locations of field density tests are shown on attached plans. Conclusion Our work is considered to be in accordance with the usual standards of the profession and with local practice. In addition, no representations are made as to the quality or extent of compacted materials not observed by our soil technician. If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
