Dear Mr. Robson:
In accordance with the request of your site superintendent, we have prepared this letter to provide rigid
(Portland cement concrete, PCC) pavement recommendations for the subject project.
The fire access is currently constructed as 12 inches of aggregate base over native subgrade. The
aggregate base should be removed to accommodate a 6-inch PCC pavement section. The rigid
pavement subgrade should be moisture conditioned and compacted to 95% relative compaction. The
recommendations for rigid pavement sections are presented on Table I.
Should you have questions regarding this letter, or if we may be of further service, please contact the
undersigned at your convenience.
Very truly yours,
GEOCON IN CORPORA TED
