The proposed wetlands mitigation area detention basin wi.ll attenuate storm water flows to predeveloped levels for both 6 hour and 24 hour, 10 yea.r storm events; results show: CONDITION Q10(6) Q10(24) NATURAL 22.4 CFS 11.5 CFS DEVELOPED 38.9 CFS 17.1 CFS DEV.W/DETENTION 10.3 CFS 10.2 CFS The basin conveys water through a 36" RCP storm drain via an 18" hole in a modified type A-7 cleanout. The top of the cleanout will· remain open, and acts as the primary spillway during emergency storm flows. Built into the earth dike is a concrete lined trapezoidal channel that performs as a secondary spillway. Both facilities are designed to carry· the 100 year storm disoharge.
