The construction of the improvements for Faraday Avenue (City of Carlsbad Drawing 369-2D) along the southwest property boundary of the Kelly Ranch Core Area is proceeding. The contract for the work has been let, and underground construction is scheduled to begin in January 2000. Therefore, it is necessary to construct this portion of the Kelly Ranch Core Storm Drain System in advance of the Kelly Ranch Core Improvements. This addendum: (A) isolates the calculations necessary to support the design and construction of storm drain within Faraday Avenue and (B) updates the calculations due to a revised Hydraulic Grade Line Analysis which resulted in larger pipe diameters in this run of pipe. The hydrology and hydraulics have been calculated and previously approved in the Drainage Report for Kelly Ranch Core Area Volume I. The remaining portions of the Kelly Ranch Core storm drain will be constructed once final approval of the project is obtained.
