Sewer Facility Study
Job No. 164-04
TNTRODUCTION
The ouroose ofthis study is to analyze the on-site existing and proposed sewer facilities for the
devebpment ofthe LCR&S Master Plan (Master Plan). The Master Plan '^7-ts of remod^^^^^^
several of the existing LCR&S facilities and the construction of 165 villas. .The foll^;."^
analysis ofthe LCR&S sewer facilities is based on discussions with and data received firom Mike
CuJcV KSL Resorts Steve Deering, Dudek and Associates and Frank Reynaga, Leucadia
Wa'^^a^e" and the LWD Sewer Master Plan (LWD MP), dated July 1999.
ANALYSIS
The LCR&S is located within the LWD service area. The LCR&S sewer facilities consist of
both private and public sewers. The flows generated by the LCR&S gravity feed into the La
Costa Lift Station located in LWD Drainage Basin #11. The lift station is owned and operated
bv the LWD The La Costa Lift Station existing / ultimate capacity and existmg / ultimate
average day and peak flows tributary to the station shown m Table 1 were obtained from the
LWD MP.

Ultimate 3,000 920 1,800
Per LWD it has been determined that the existing public sewer facilities (including the La Costa
Lift Station are sufficient to convey the additional sewer flows generated by the Master Planned
facihties However, LWD has requested that an on-site sub-area sewer master plan be developed
traccLt r all ixistmg and proposed EDU's and develop existing and proposed/ultimate
flows generated by the LCR&S facilities along with a map showing all existmg and future sewer
facilities. The attached Exhibit A, LCR&S Sewer Facility Map shows the existmg and proposed
sewer facilities for the LCR&S.
