The intent of this report is to provide runoff and drainage calculations to support the proposed minor drainage channel designed for the area. Drainage area maps are included with this study. Two of these maps are partial copies from the forthcoming Carlsbad 100-scale orthotopo series with drainage basins added per field review. The third map is a 100-scale reduction of the grading plan itself. This study utilizes the design criteria outlined in the San Diego County Flood Control District's Desian and Procedure Manual in its calculations and analyses. Storm drain facilities were designed to convey the 100-year storm runoff discharges. Since the ultimate tributary area to the subject site should be much smaller than the current tributary area, separate hydrologic calculations are included for each condition.
