We are preparing this structural assessment letter for the above referenced telecommunications site
located at 1015 Chestnut Ave, Carlsbad,CA 92008
Existing antennas are installed on H-frame.
The following scope of work is proposed:
• Install (12) (N) HPA-65R-BUU-H6 panel antennas, (4) per sector.
• Install (12) (N) RRUs-11, (4) per sector.
• Remove (9) (E) panel antennas,(3) per sector
• Install (1) surge suppressor per sector
• Install (2) double TMA per sector

( ) panel antennas will be mounted on existing H-frame. We have reviewed the existing as-builts of
the H-frame and our review indicates that existing H-frame is adequate to support the additional wind
and gravity loads due to proposed antennas. It is our professional opinion that existing H-frame won't be
overstressed due to this modification.
It is also proposed to install (12) (N) RRU's (4 per sector) on existing H-frame. It is our professional
opinion that the existing H-frame is adequate to support the additional weight of these RRU'S.
Based on above findings, it is our opinion that the existing H-frame is adequate to support proposed
loads and will conform to the requirements of the 2013 California Building Code.
