It has come to my attention that the plan check, # 89-507, for a
garage addition and remodel and upgrade of a converted garage has
expired. This was originally a violation and this plan check was
for construction to correct the violation. The permit was ready to
be issued on June 6, 1989 and a six month extension was granted
until April 10, 1990 due to litigation. You must initiate a new
plan check and obtain a permit immediately or reconvert the
original garage. An inspection to verify the reconversion will be
required.
The City has in the past worked with you regarding the need for
time due to the litigation proceedings; however the City can not
ignore this matter and will require action by you to correct the
violation by May 21, 1990 or this case will be referred to the city
Attorney for further legal action.
Please contact the undersigned at 438-1161 to discuss what action
you will take to correct the violation.

Dear Sir:
The plan check for your project at: 1148 Knowles Avenue
has become null and void due to limitation of time on: 04/] o /90
The provisions of Section 304 (cl of the Uniform Building Code states:
Sec. 304 (cl Expiration of Plan Check. Applications for which
no permit is issued within 180 days following the date of application
shall expire by limitation and plans submitted for checking may
thereafter be returned to the applicant or destroyed by the
Building Official. The Building Official may extend the time for
action by the applicant for a period not exceeding 180 days upon
written request by the applicant showing that circumstances
beyond the control of the applicant have prevented action from
being taken. In order to renew action on an application after
expiration, the applicant shall resubmit plans and pay a new
plan check fee.
We will hold your plans for 10 days at our office for you to pick up, after
which time they will be destroyed.
