Dear Christine Wauschek
In response to you letter dated September 2,2004 regarding the referenced permit.
When we originally pulled this permit it was to build a Jacuzzi at our home. Shortly after
obtaining the permit my wife began having medical problems. This put the Jacuzzi on
the back burners. The doctors felt she had classic signs of MS, and wanted her to start
the test to confirm their suspicions. If she did have MS, she would be extremely sensitive
to anything hot; therefore the Jacuzzi would be the last thing we needed. The testing
concluded last week and to our delight she does not have MS.
This has been a very difficult time, and I know this is my second request for an extension.
I ask for you understand in this matter, with this behind us, we now want to begin
construction. It will take some time to get our builder back on the project.
We will be glad to pay any fees associated with another extension.
Sincerely,
Michael Porter

RE: Permit # CB032757
Dear Pat Kelly:
Thank you for your letter explaining the reasons for the permit expiration, I was
unaware of the fact.
It is our intent to proceed with the construction of the pool, and would appreciate
a 180-day extension. As most homeowners we were eager to start the
construction process and pushed to get the building permit. Then due to items
out of our control the process came to a halt. We experienced some medical and
finical setbacks, which will soon be resolved.
Please give our request consideration, and thanks again for the letter of
notification (see attached), without it we would have to start over.
Sincere
