The plan check for your project at: 1200 Chinquapin Avenue
has become null and void due to limitation of time on: lQ/4/aa
The provisions of Section 304 (c) of the Uniform Building Code states:
Sec. 304 (c) Expiration of Plan Check. Applications for which
no permit is issued within 180 days following the date of application
shall expire by limitation and plans submitted for checking may
thereafter be returned to the applicant or destroyed by the
Building Official. The Building Official may extend the time for
action by the applicant for a period not exceeding 180 days upon
written request by the applicant showing that circumstances
beyond the control of the applicant have prevented action from
being taken. In order to renew action on an application after
expiration, the applicant shall resubmit plans and pay a new
plan check fee.
We will hold your plans for 10 days at our office for you to pick up, after
which time they will be destroyed.
If you have any questions, please contact the Carlsbad Building Department

Plan check is limited to technical requirements
contained in the Uniform Building Code, Uniform
Plumbing Code, Uniform Mechanical Code, National
Electrical Code and state laws regulating energy
conservation, noise attenuation and access for
the handicapped. The plan check is based on
regulations enforced by the Building Inspection
Department. You may have other corrections
based on laws and ordinances enforced by the
Planning Department, Engineering Department or
other departments.
