Uniform Plumbing Code, Uniform Mechanical Code, National Electrical Code and state laws
regulating energy conservation, noise attenuation and disabled access. This plan review is based on
regulations enforced by the Building Department. You may have other corrections based on laws
and ordinances enforced by the Planning Department, Engineering Department or - other

ELECTRICAL (2005 NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE)
1. Expand on the description "Mechanical chase" (found on sheet A3.0): Is this a
permanent framed roofed constructed chase or a tall rack? Provide construction details if
a constructed chase or provide structural design for the fast jack at the height to be
installed (42").
2. The single line diagram includes a 200 ampere (bussing) panelboard not on the single
line and does not include the utility disconnect switch noted on the floorplans. Please
coordinate. (Add the utility disconnect to the single line and review the single line and
floorplan for the 125 ampere service design).
3. A No. 8 grounding electrode conductor is required to be installed to the inverter. Please
add to the single line diagram.
PLUMBING (2006 UNIFORM PLUMBING CODE)
4. An instantaneous water heater has been added (free hand) (Delta 4) to sheet E2.0. If
part of this permit, provide the following information: Equipment specifications and the
gas piping layout (include existing and new gas loads on the piping system).
