I told her that ceiling was in the process of being raised to $35,000, and she told me that Dave Hauser had told her-that it may be ELIMINATED. Now we are told that the $35,000 was withdrawn because of the proposed elimination, and the documents went to the City Attorney who said NO. She is obviously the victim of an inefficient government and deserves attention. She also built another 2 story addition in 1987 and was permitted to go without a soils report by using lOOO# bearing pressure. She expected to do that again. Her house is 85 years old. She has no trouble with the 1987 addition and has requested permission to do the same thing this time. Considering the method of torture we are using and considering that you have the power to allow this exception suggest you should. The valuation will be my problem. Dave user sent her to me. 7 Cartky/ NO SOILS REPORT REQ'D Design for lOOO#
