Per the City of Carlsbad request please note the following on the plans. • Roof mounted equipment must be screened and roof penetrations should be minimized (City Policy 80-6). • No wiring is permitted on the roof of a building and wiring on the exterior of a building requires approval by the Building Official. Please show that the glazing in the following locations should be of safety glazing material in accordance with Section 2406.4 (see exceptions): • Fixed or operable panels adjacent to a door where the nearest exposed edge of the glazing is within a 24-inch arc of either vertical edge of the door in a closed position and where the bottom exposed edge of the glazing is less than 60 inches above the walking surface. 4. The following disabled access items are taken from the 1995 edition of California Building Code, Title 24.
