PROJECT MANAGEMENTGENERAL CONSTRUCTION
,, Carlsbad, CA., CB941608.
Today I reviewed the project framing again to verify its conformance with the approved building
plans and structural calculations previously provided by our office. There appears to be a
number of beams which were specified to be DF#1 beams and instead were installed with DF#2.
These beams specified on the framing plans are: FB5, FB6, FB7, FB14 and the 4x12 supporting
the 1st story roof of the 13* wide pop-out located on the north wall of the living room.
I have checked these beams and they appear to be in substantial conformance with the structural
calculations and may remain as installed with DF#2.
Please call if you have any further questions.
Respectfully submitted,
LA COSTA ENGINEERING
